New Carpet Tiles Installed in Prototype "Mini Model"

From the Desk of General Manager Tim Sutherland:

I am pleased to report that the final carpet tile selection is available for viewing at the Watergate office and the CARS 3rd floor prototype area in the E building between 6 and 8 Captain Drive. The interior paint colors, carpet, E356 and E360 unit doors, and the metal soffit enclosure are coordinated to present a “mini-model” of what the hallways and unit doors will look like throughout Watergate when the interior renovation project is completed winter 2015.

The lighting and fire suppression project will begin late 2011/early 2012 and is expected to take 24 to 30 months  to complete buildings E, C, A, D, B and F. Once three buildings (E, C and A) have the fire sprinklers and hallway lighting installed, the goal is to begin the paint, wall finishes and carpet renovations in the E building and move along to C, A, D, B and F.

This is in exciting time at Watergate, and we look forward to working together to continue maintaining and renovating your one-of-kind property.

CARS Committee - Final Conceptual Design Recommendation - March 21st at 6:30 p.m.

After meeting over a 3 year period, the CARS committee is prepared to present their final conceptual design recommendation to the Board at the Monday, March 21, 2011 Board of Directors Meeting.  The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Clipper Club.  We hope to see you there!
